FREDRIK NOREN
Fredrik Noren has made quite the reputation for himself. Just 6 months ago he was the fill in rider for factory Honda, putting in top ten finishes week in and week out against the biggest names in the world. At A1 Fredrik barely squeaked into the main and finished off with a top 15 finish. San Diego wasn’t so good to Noren but he’s proven to be a top caliber rider. With a little confidence, Fredrik could be surprising everyone soon.
Noren started the day off not so great in qualifying due to a injured butt muscle. “I’ve never seen him in this much pain” says Amy Noren, Fredrik’s wife. Nevertheless when the gate dropped for 250 heat 1 at A2, Noren was determined to get into the main and did just that. Struggle was an understatement for Fredrik and a crash in the whoops cut Noren’s night short during the main event. Hopefully he can heal up quick.
