Roczen came creeping up on the rookie quickly trying to get by. But Musquin was not ready to give up his second place position keeping tight to all the insides not letting anyone by. After several big efforts Roczen finally got by him pulling away a little lap
by lap. Not losing any time to the battle of Anderson, Seeley and Reed behind him, Musquin kept his head down and focused in his podium position. Keeping the gap between him and fourth place roughly around five seconds, Marvin Musquin got his best premier class finish of a third place.
