It was onto the semi for Anderson where he would easily get the win. He started behind Jake Weimer and got around him in lap 3 and threw down some really fast laps to build a nice cushion before taking the checkered flag. Anderson looked loose and confident all night and looked ready to contend for a win in the main.
A very bad start would kick off the main event for Anderson. It was a position he has been in all too often this year. He didn’t get discouraged though as he put on another strong charge to the front. Anderson would make his way up to 6th place where he would join Chad Reed and Cole Seely in a fight for 4th. The three riders would all swap positions but when the dust settled it was Anderson who would get through to 4th. The top 3 were too far ahead by the time Anderson got into 4th and that is where he would finish. He clearly has the speed to win races but his bad starts have set him back. You can count on Anderson to work on his starts this week before lining up in Glendale next Saturday night.
