#22 Chad Reed- Not all hero’s wear capes. It’s safe to say that Chad Reed was having a few rough seasons with
his former team TwoTwoMotorsports.
As history would suggest owning and operating your own team really takes a tole on you mentally and physically. With the title sponsor not signing back up for the 2016 season the TwoTwoMotorsports team was looking to be shutting the doors. Chad needed a change. He needed to worry about racing for a
team, not managing a team, budgets, sponsors, ext. One week away from the 2016 season opener at Angel Stadium
in Anaheim California no one knew what team Reed would be on, but knew that he would be on a factory Yamaha. The team stepped up huge for the longtime friend Reed, who rode for them most of his career. Reed was with YamahaMotorUSA from October 2001- May 2008. The #22 is expected to finish his career with Yamaha.
