#22 Chad Reed- Reed was put into the 2nd heat race of the night where he would get a mid pack start and cross the finish line in 8th place at the end of lap 1. Chad battled with the likes of Weimer and Brayton before pulling up behind Weston Peick who was in the final position to transfer to the main event. Peick made the move on the #55 of Vince Friese who was in third place leaving Friese on the ground with two laps remaining in the heat race. This would hand Reed 4th position and the last transfer spot for the main event. In the main event Reed would get a 7th place start while his main championship competi-
tor Dungey pulled the holeshot and was beginning to pull a gap on the rest of the field. Reed would get passed Brayton for 6th position fairly quick latching onto Seely who was in 5th. It looked like we might see a Reed, Stewart battle just like old times. Both Seely and Reed made the move on Stewart moving them- selves into 4th and 5th and catching Marvin Musquin running in the final podium position. Reed was stuck behind Seely for most of the main event until Anderson pulled into the battle and made short work of both the #22 and #14. Chad followed Anderson by Seely with 2 laps remaining. In the end, Chad Reed would lose more points to the Championship leader, Dungey, and now be tied for for 2nd place in the standings with Jason Anderson, also sitting -22 points behind Dungey.
