Our Speakers
Dr. Sharad Gupta is research scientist at
School of Engineering, IIT Mandi. He did his M. Tech in
Geoinformatics & Its Applications from Maulana Azad
National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. He joined IIT
Mandi in July 2015. His area of research interest is Remote
Sensing, Geo-Informatics & Mathematical Modelling for
Landslide Hazard Zonation. His research now has been
published in most reputed journals.
Mr. Sanjeev Rana has obtained his Degree in Law.
And presently is Pradhan of Gram Panchayat AIMA Palampur.
Mr Rana has no need to any introduction. His panchayat has
introduced a Modern Garbage Treatment Plant. The Kullu
Deputy Commissioner has also followed AIMA Model and
decided to set up a garbage treatment plant in Kullu district. A
team of officials from Kullu recently visited AIMA to see the
functioning of the plant and well appreciated. The State
Government has directed 300 panchayats of the state to follow
the model of the AIMA, so that the Swachh Bharat Mission
could be implemented successfully.
