SITE SELECTION PROCESS
Site selection is an integral component of the franchise process. As part of our Brand Support system, you will have a team in Real Estate who will scout only A+ locations for your review. We strive to match your preferred territory with site selection locations.
New Sites
- Criteria may include but are not limited to an area with a mix of light industrial, retail, commercial and
residential dwellings
- Drive-thru’s are first preference, followed by end caps and lastly in-lines
Our Real Estate team will work tirelessly for you and send sites for your review. As part of the support Mary Brown’s provides, our Real Estate team will handle all the negotiations with the Landlord to ensure you are receiving the best possible deal for your location.
To support our Real Estate team, below are some Do’s & Don’t’s for the Site Selection process.
DO:
- Provide us a wish-list of specific Top 3 areas of interest
- Provide us an overview as to why this is an area of interest
- Send us photos/intersections or landlord contact information if you see a site of
interest
- Visit the sites we share with you and provide your feedback
- Ask questions about the locations
- Review the Market Research snapshot that our Real Estate team provides you
DON’T:
- Reach out to independent/personal brokers to secure sites – this can cause confusion for our Exclusive Mary Brown’s brokers
- Negotiate your own deals on rent, square footage or terms of the Lease
