While Homeland Security and local authorities were raid- ing Diddy’s properties across the US, the rapper’s accused “drug mule” was being arrested at
a Miami Airport.
Brendan Paul was arrested at Opa- Locka Airport as he tried to board a plane
around 4:30pm on Monday afternoon, while federal agents were filing into the 54-year-old’s man- sions and detained two of his sons.
The Ohio native admitted to having drugs in his luggage and an arrest warrant was issued by the Miami-Dade Police Department, as seen by the Daily Mail.
The warrant stated that the local police took Brendan into custody with some assistance from Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection
It also noted: “‘The defendant had the contraband inside of his personal travel bags, which he claimed prior to being searched.
“The suspected cocaine was located and tested by agents... the defen- dant was charged accordingly.”
The 25-year-old has been charged with felony cocaine pos- session and marijua- na possession after a search revealed the contraband in his travel bags.
He is reportedly being held at Turner
Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami with two bonds worth $2,500.
Diddy was spotted at the same airport about an hour before Brendan was arrested after his jet touched down from LA.
Two of the rapper’s sons, Justin and King Combs, were detained during the Los Angeles raid, with images showing the two men being held by police before they were released without charge.
Brendan was accused of being a “drug mule” for the rapper in one of the string of lawsuits against Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs.
Rodney Jones, also known as Lil Rod, filed the $30 million lawsuit against the rapper and alleged that he “personally witnessed” Brendan acquire and distribute “drugs and guns” for Diddy and his group.
