Man Arrested After Allegedly Taking, Eating Leg of Pedestrian After Hit By Train In Wasco

WASCO, Calif. (KBAK/FOX58) Officials said the suspected man who allegedly removed evi- dence from the Wasco Amtrak station on Friday was identified as 27-year-old Resendo Tellez.
At around 8 a.m., deputies respond- ed with BNSF Railroad police to a report of a pedestrian who was struck by a train at the Amtrak Station in the 700 block of G Street in Wasco.
Deputies learned that Tellez allegedly removed
evidence, a leg, from the scene. Tellez was found and arrested with- out incident on multiple outstand- ing warrants, and for taking evi- dence from the scene.
BNSF investiga- tors arrived short- ly later and assumed the investigation.
