SUPPLIER ACCOUNT MANAGER OF THE YEAR
           Andrew Botting
THERMAKRAFT
South Island Account Manager Andrew says it’s all about honesty, integrity and putting clients
first. With a high NPS and highly rated for his creativity and the initiatives he brings to the table, Andrew is rightly “extremely proud” of but not content with
his achievements so far. Having made “significant strides in adding value to customers and end users” in his territory, SI Regional Area Manager, Olivia Larson, says Andrew is “dedicated”; “always going over and above for his customers”; “takes a keen interest in his customers’ drivers and levers”; and is “seen as a go-to person with his customers”.
Dylan Myers
MAKITA NZ
Napier-based Hawkes Bay and Central North Island Sales Rep Dylan has been tasked with account management, training and merchandising in this “choice part of NZ” since April last year. New to sales in this role but armed with insights and customer connections from his tradie background, Dylan’s remit covers a very broad range of products, retailers & merchants and end users. Saying he enjoys chasing an account towards success and that the high demands placed upon him keep him “hungry”, Dylan reckons there’s a lot more potential for growth in his territory from both new and, importantly, existing customers.
Regan Harris
CHH WOOD PRODUCTS
Auckland region Account Manager since mid-2018, Regan brings
to his market structure and regular contact, skills he learned over 5 years in FMCG. Selling
a range of timber products to retailers, merchants and some frame & truss operations, the
last year’s challenges included successfully recovering the five week’s business lost to Covid-19, having built momentum earlier
in the year and built on that post-lockdown. Happy addressing customers at all levels, Regan ranks hard work, communication, trust, honesty and integrity as
key contributors to his successes so far, which have included converting a major merchant to CHH products, long term!
Nick Thorburn
SIKA NZ
Celebrating 10 years at
Sika, Dunedin-based Nick is South Island Sales Manager
for Distribution with sales responsibility for the Lower South Island. Coming to Sika with
prior knowledge of the industry and a “high level of trust” from customers, Nick “performs at a high level” as well as mentoring his two-person team, who equally perform to “a very high standard” in a mature and fiercely competitive marketplace. Faced with potential flattening of the market Nick sees “providing guidance and value” as the way forward. Nick is highly thought
of; indeed, Business Manager Distribution, Tony Smith, believes Nick will transition into a senior leadership role in good time.
