PRODUCTION PROCESS
The process involved in producing FCF wall panels are:
Design: Experience engineer with designated software program will design
entire building with CFS system. The program will produce wall panel's detail
data.
Roll-Forming: Wall panel's data insert to roll-forming machine’s computer by
operator and start producing steel studs by bending and folding flat sheet of
galvanized steel which coming by de-coiling the galvanized steel coil. Machine
produce all studs related to a wall panel and mark them by printing codes on
every stud.
Panelizing: The software also produce shop drawings. Crew of two or three
(depend the size of wall or volume of work) will pick those studs one by one and
fabricate wall panel by screwing studs together. According to design, fasteners
also will use in different section of the wall panel.
Quality Control: In this area QC manager will check the wall panel according to
shop drawing to make sure all screws and fasteners all in the right place and
wall is dimensionally square.
Loading: According to erection drawing, wall panels stacked at loading area by
gantry crane on trailer and ship to the jobsite.
Open Web Steel Floor Joist: Light gauge joist production process is like wall
panels.
Galvanized Steel Coil: There are many companies supply steel coil around the
world. Galvanized steel sheet is widely used in automotive and home appliance
manufacturing. Turkey, South Korea, Japan and China are the key player in the
market. Some have local representative in Dubai and Doha.
Screws and Fasteners: there are few types of screw will be used in CFS system
which is common in steel industry and there are many suppliers in the region.
ENVIRONMENTAL / RESOURCE IMPACTS
Fabricating wall panels is zero emission and produce no waste. All the knockouts
from machines in plant and alteration pieces at site will be collected and send
back to mills to produce new steel.
