2019 - A YEAR OF GROWTH AND INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION
Dear Investors,
G’Day! It’s been another busy year of growth and expansion here at G’day Imports. It has been a very produc- tive and positive year which has resulted in solid sales growth and expansion of core business strategies.
2019 Highlights
• Sales to date have increased 40% over last year. Cooranbong is up 34% and Bombora is up 42%.
• Florida up 90%
• Texas up 93%
• Louisiana up 340%
• International up 65% • Tennessee up 59%
• Colorado up 16%
• Introduction of 2 additional SKUs into our markets, the new Bombora Liter and 1.75s. New bottle design necessary for restaurants/bars for quick pour. Consulted many mixologists for best design. Bombora 750ml bottle will remain the same as people love that design as well.
• Increased production by 300% while still achieving reduction in costs.
• Secured 500k in investment to begin advertising in key markets as directed by VMLYR.
• Expanded into new states including WI, AL & NJ. Will add NY, MA, MD, KY, IN and others in 2020 as
increased inventory lands in the US.
• Succeeded in getting 25,000 cases into production of which 10,000 are currently in the US and
15,000 are being bottled in AU in Dec/Jan which will result in $2 M in sales in 2020.
• Continued to grow international sales and secured partners for growth in Australia and Asia as our
inventory is increased.
• Launched tasting program in conjunction with Forte Events and have conducted extensive tastings
including key chains such as Publix, ABC Stores, Spec’s and Jewel/Osco and Binny’s.
Sales
We are beginning to ramp up sales as the new inventory arrives. This increase will allow us to initially add states. In the past, we have needed to make sure we have enough inventory to service our large chain accounts because if you run out of product (hole on the shelf) the big boxes will replace you. We plan on adding several states in the Northeast and a few in the Midwest in Q1/Q2 of 2020.
We have numerous opportunities in Asia and also AU that we will be adding as inventory comes online. The benefit of moving bottling back to Australia is we can ship directly from AU to Asia, we don’t incur the 20% tariff on Chinese goods as our bottles go to AU to be filled and then ship to the US as an Australian product. That also keeps the base spirit close to bottling which gets the product in the bottle quickly which makes for a great
