Our next rule goes with the rule we just finished, “Don’t demand answers.”
Now you and I know that grown-ups are not perfect. Occasionally, they may not want to explain something again, which is too bad but not the end of the world.
If you asked in a “Good Thinking” way, “Excuse me but I don’t understand what you just went over with us. Could you please explain it again.” And they choose not to repeat it, you can say , “That’s okay, maybe later” and say it with a ‘smile’ in your voice.
Remember our rule: “Don’t demand answers.”
