Sometimes you don’t understand something even though you have been paying attention. That is when you have to be brave enough to ask your teacher or parent a question.
It is important how you ask and when you ask but it is okay to ask that question.
Don’t forget our “Good Thinking” way to ask them to repeat it. Say, “Excuse me but I don’t understand what you just went over with us. Could you please explain it again.”
You should now pay close attention and once they repeated the information, you should say, “Thank you for going over it again.” Remember the Rule:
“Don’t be afraid to ask a question if you really need to.”
