“Don’t ask questions to get attention” is our third “Question Rule.”
I see this rule broken all the time by parrots. They go on and on asking questions, not so much because they need to know something but because they like the attention.
This is a terrible habit. It won’t take long before others realize that you are not really interested in getting your questions answered but only want attention and they will start ignoring you.
If you ever find yourself thinking, “I need to ask a question,” because you want the attention rather than because you really need to know something, you are about to break
this rule.
