Now let me give you an example of a problem with ‘Question Asking’. We have our own special name for it. We call it the “WHAT! Question.”
I have seen Owl Teachers go to a lot of trouble
explaining the best way to catch a mouse to younger owls. But a young owl may not be paying attention and when his teacher finishes explaining, the young bird looks at her in confusion and say, “What!”
I know that does not sound very important to you but for an owl not understanding this lesson can mean having supper or going to bed hungry.
I don’t know about your parents or teachers but sometimes the Owl Teacher gets pretty annoyed with a “What Question” that is the result of her student’s not paying attention.
