For Parents Dealing With Change
This book and the other in the “Adventures of Cosmos Crow” Coping Skills series are designed to help all of us (children and adults) learn that much of our success and happiness is depends on our “Self-Talk”.
If you tell yourself things that are realistic and make sense (Good Thinking) you are more likely to deal with life situa ons and those in it successfully.
If you tell yourself things that are not realistic and don’t make sense (Stinky Thinking) you will deal with life and those in it less successfully.
Our “Dealing With Change” story addresses a common fear for most of us... Change. We like things to stay the way they are, even if we don’t really like the status quo.
When young children are asked to do difficult or boring things that are new to them, they may be resistant. This is normal but not bene cial in our modern society.
A willingness to accept that change is going to occur, to plan for it and deal with it as e ec vely as you can is a necessary and important skill.
