Page 38 - Too Smart Dog
P. 38

1. The lord of the manor was upset by the dog’s explanation of why he did not try and stop the thief. What did the lord say and what type of thinking was he showing?
Stinky Thinking
2. When others think like the lord and you refuse to do what they request, how will they feel and what are some of the ways they might act toward you?
Angry (They may try to make you feel foolish or scared... “I won’t be your friend”)
3. When you refuse to do or not do something because it is
not in your best self-interest, others may become angry with you. What should you tell yourself so that you will be like “Too Smart Dog"?
(I know this is the right thing to do and I should not be upset if they act angry... I am strong enough to do the right thing and if they get upset, that is their problem)
