The Atlantis leader smiled and replied, Yes, you can speak to each other but your talk is very limited. The language we will give you has many, many words and ways to say them that can mean countless things.
Our gift of grammar will insure that there is no confusion in your language. You can think of it as the rules for the game of communication.
The pig rolled his eyes. This sounds like too much trouble to me. If I start speaking correctly the other pigs will make fun of me. They will laugh me right out of the mud hole.
