The first to speak was a Hyena: That will never work! If I don’t get what I want, there will be trouble and everyone better look out. If I help someone, they will think I am weak and they will probably never help me.
Many animals shook their heads in agreement.
The leader of Atlantis continued as if he had not heard the Hyena. Our next gift is politeness. When you would like something from another, you say Please and if they give it to you, you say Thank You. If they choose not to share, you will say something like "Thanks Anyway" and not become angry.
