• At the beginning of the American Girl era, Mattel created a doll that utilized leftover Swirl Ponytail
heads on the new bendable leg bodies
• These dolls have come to be known by collectors as American Girl Swirls
• Shiny hair has oxidized to a ginger ale color with blonde undertones
• Original bands, ribbons and bobby pin are present
• All original face paint with striking brows and beautiful lips that are oxidizing from pink to white
• Mesmerizing blue eyes
• Earring holes at ears, light green at both ears, larger than pearl size
• Body is mint with toe and finger polish
• Includes copper stand, booklet and shoes
• American Girl Swirls are extremely hard to find in a correct box
• The end flap of the AG Swirl boxes should be stamped “Ponytail”, and hair color specified
• This box is in very good condition. End flap is not is marked “Ponytail”, and hair color has been
crossed out
