183) JAPANESE DRESSED BOX SIDE-PART AMERICAN GIRL BARBIE MIB
        • This fabulous doll will set the pulse racing for any Barbie Collector
        • Not only is she an exquisite example of a rare Japanese side-part American Girl, she comes
wearing a vintage “crown jewel” fashion
        • Her hair is a glorious silver-tipped brunette in original crisp styling, held in place with silk string and
            turquoise ribbon
        • Magnificent high color face has flawless face paint with nice brown brows, deep blue eyes,
smoky shadow and beautiful geranium lips with matching blush
        • Her face vinyl is the pink Japanese version, with beautiful coloring, a bit lighter at nose and chin.
We found no other light areas in her face, which is so hard to find
        • Body is the HTF bend leg American Girl body, non-twist waist, which is a real treat to see, as usually
the Japanese market side-part American Girls are found on the Mod Standard bodies
        • She has perfect finger and toe polish and comes wearing a wrist tag (broken at band)
        • Her fashion will wow you! It is the European Sorbonne outfit which is in gorgeous condition, with
often-found minimal rubs to bust area (from lid of box)
        • We were so excited to find that all of her accessories are enclosed with her original booklet in
factory cello and include green CT heels, three school books, brown cat-eye sunglasses, two
            pencils and two book straps
        • What we found intriguing about this doll is the unique characteristics of the box liner; the regular
American Girl box liner has an arm hole to secure doll in place as well as a dye cut hole for the
            copper wire stand
        • This doll is an example of the unique Japanese market packaging that is found on some
Japanese Dressed Box dolls. The box liner has no armhole or stand hole, rather has a cardboard
banner holding the doll in place across the waist and hip area
        • Tariff stamp present on bottom portion of box liner
        • Box is marked Titian, and is in excellent condition, with Japanese fashion sticker #1679 which is the
correct stock number for this fashion
        • Box end flap has a strip of light blue fading
        • What an amazing opportunity to own this treasure from Shae’s collection. We can only imagine
that this was one of his most cherished dolls
        • Suggested $4500-$5500
