Professional Learning
Our 100% licensed teaching community are masters of their craft and stay up to date with new pedagogical trends and best practices. We encourage and invest in each of our educators skills by providing professional learning opportunities throughout the year.
Every year we encourage and invest in each of our educators skills by providing professional learning opportunities. Due to travel and gathering restrictions from COVID-19, many of our 116 teachers and 61 teaching assistants presented or attended web-based classes held by
International School Services and other accredited institutions. SIS also held professional learning for each division as well as the whole school.
In April, SIS Jingshan campus was able to welcome educators from around Shenzhen and Guangdong Province to kick off the SENIA Shenzhen chapter. SENIA (Special Education Network and Inclusion Association) is an organization made of "Educators, professionals, and parents on a mission to advocate, support, and provide resources to differently-abled individuals.
