The North is the Seasonal Cycle of Winter
he North brings us into the barren stillness of Winter’s cold,
dark cycle. Mother Nature appears to die and become very still, at least in the Northern hemisphere. The leaves of the trees have vanished, the ground is cold, perhaps even covered in snow, and there is no apparent life. The North teaches us to go within, to the underground, beneath the surface of all that appears to be dead, into the world of darkness and that which is unknown. Here we can enter back into a place of rest, the dreamtime, the great void. It is time to can integrate, become wise and replenish.
The North is Also the Cycle of Nighttime
The Night also brings the medicine of the North same as Winter. The North is the space between endings of the West and beginnings of the East. In the night we enter dreamtime once again. This is an essential cycle of reset and preparation for your new day.
