This course is open to Juniors and Seniors. This is a college level orientation course to the automotive field. This
course will cover careers available in the industry and will provide advice on how to obtain them. This course will
provide information and skills needed to enter automotive related occupations or certificate/degree programs.
Students will also learn about a wide variety of vehicle systems to help them decide if they want to choose the
automotive field. Students will be required to use a textbook for reading and written work. Students should be
able to follow multiple-step directions and work both independently and in team situations. Students are required
to wear proper shop attire and footwear. Specifically, Croc style shoes and slides are not permitted. All Auto
courses are taught by an ASE Master Certified Instructor.
