                                    Auckland. Florence was born on 11 Jul 1890 in Kerikeri, Bay of Islands, died on 1 May
                                    1959 in Auckland at age 68, and was buried on 4 May 1959 in Otahuhu, Auckland. The
                                    cause of her death was Myocardial Infarction 7 days. Diabetes Mellitus 7 years. They had
                                    no children.

                   TUMOANA ) was born about 1860, died on 10 Jul 1919 aged about 59, and was buried
                   in Rangihaukaha Urupa. Another name for Riapo was Leopold Busby.
                          Rapunga Kupu Akoako: Rangatira; following the death of Timoti Wharemate
                          Puhipi the chiefly line transferred to his eldest son Riapo from his first marriage
                          who was educated at St Stephens school and was an Anglican Synodsman. In
                          1895 he campaigned for the reopening of the native school at Pukepoto, and as
                          chairman for many years he maintained community backing for the school and
                          was "a source of considerable support to the master.." Pukepoto had a
                          reputation as "the model Maori kainga of the north" noted Ben Keys in 1907.
                          For some years Riapo was chairman of the Mangonui Maori Council, and  Riapo Puhipi
                          Registrar of births and deaths. He was highly respected for his dealings with the
                          government in many matters, and was several times a parliamentary candidate.

                          Rapunga Kupu Akoako: One measure of the prominent place Riapo held in Te Rarawa is afforded by
                          the remarkable account of his first marriage to Mary Hardiman in 1880, when the procession of
                          wedding guests and wagon loads of food supplies stretched three miles from Kaitaia to Pukepoto.
