            Nopera; and Ereonora at Te Ahu, Kaitaia. The child is probably their
            daughter Wharo, who later married Irishman John Harding and lived at
            Whangape.

            Ereonora Kaimanu was the granddaughter of renowned Rangatira Papahia,

            Nopera or Noble was the son of Te Kaaka Kutukutu whose brother Tuperere
            signed the sale of land documents for the Kaitaia Mission Station. Nopera’s

            Islands. Nopera was also a signatory to the Declaration of Independence

            Nopera’s; grandmother Moiria is a sister of Ngamotu grandmother of Te Ripi;
            Rangatira o Pukepoto and Ahipara.
