PROFESSIONALISM
As an architectural professional, don’t you value having a team of people around you that have specialist
qualifications and a professional attitude to their role? Portrait Custom Homes director, Rob Hyde, has degrees in
Construction Management and Quantity Surveying and a thoroughly professional attitude to every project. We only
undertake a limited amount of projects at any time, meaning we focus on giving the best possible professional
supervision and individual service.

EXPERIENCE
Rob started his career on large commercial projects, with two hospitals, a school, a regional court building and
a variety of retail and apartment blocks ranging from 9 to 90 units. However, it is the building of single custom
homes that Rob turned his attention to some 20 years ago. During that time he has been fortunate to have built a
wide range of truly beautiful homes.

PROBLEM SOLVING
At Portrait Custom Homes, we make it our business to anticipate any design, detail, construction or quality
issues before they arise. We also take ownership of and deal quickly with the ones that do.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL
We do fret the small stuff. Understanding the design intent and getting the small details right is what makes the
difference between good homes and great homes. This shows in our work.
