ABOUT US
Rob Hyde is the working director and founder of Portrait Custom Homes. Rob has
degrees in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying. After graduating, he
worked as project manager for a large commercial builder on 2 hospital projects,
schools, government buildings, numerous residential apartment buildings (ranging
from from 9-90 units). He also worked as a registered quantity surveyor.
Rob was drawn more and more toward residential building and, in 1999, he opened
his own business focussing on custom home building…….
It is altogether more personal You build real relationships

and families in a way that no commercial venture can. It is
a great pleasure to have the skills and experience to make
