A Story From Canberra: Study Overseas by Scholarship
Brena Dwita Budiarti (25) from Australia National University in Canberra, will tell us about her experiences about
studying abroad. The main reason of Brena studying abroad is simple, it’s only in order to get a better quality of education.
More than that, living overseas also open
her mind to see and adaptive with a different cultures. Studying abroad was her plan which is well thought out by her since she took her undergraduate program at Faculty of Economy in Indonesia University.
She focuses on her main target of study abroad that is to continue her education. So, she prefers to choose Australia, more precisely at Australia National University (ANU) that she thought it more supportive for college than in England.
In addition of choosing Australia as a country to continue her education, for Brena, Australia is also not so far from Indonesia. So if there
is an emergency, she can easily go back to Indonesia, and conversely, the family can also easily come to visit her.
Brena is one of the post graduate students 80 deCODE Magazine
majoring in the Master of Economics Policy
at Australia National University. She runs her study now because of the scholarship that she got from LPDP (Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education). The scholarship given by LPDP was very helpful because she honestly doesn’t know how to get a course in Aussie without a scholarship.
“I dreamed of studying abroad from 8 years ago, with a scholarship from LPDP, I can say my dreams come true to study abroad and now I’m here! Alhamdulillah,” add her.
