Don’t Let Challenging Behaviors Challenge You- Pk-5 – ONC OR Don’t Let Challenging Behaviors Challenge You- MS/HS - ONC

Overview:

• This session will introduce Proactive Support Strategies for Managing student behavior,
Function-based Thinking about Behavior, and Supporting Responses to Challenging
Behaviors.

• This day will be an opportunity for educational teams to learn about functional

behavior, strategies for teaching replacement behaviors, and time to work with
colleagues on common practices for modifying student behavior.

Outcomes:

• - Understanding Proactive Supports and how they can be applied to all classrooms

• - Understanding Function-based Behavior and learning Supportive Responses to
Challenging Behaviors across multiple school settings

• There is no cost for this training, please bring your lunch.

• There are two concurrent trainings depending on grade level. Please register for the

grades you work with most
