Failing is Definitely Possible

Everyone will define success in their own way. The most profound definitions
can come from persons that have become content with their failure. They’ve
tired of fighting and have nothing else to contribute to self, family, community
or society.

If you are broke and in need of money, you will have to check your pride and get
some hustle about yourself. Something needs to be pawned (if you have
anything of value) or something needs to be sold. However, “begging” is
another option. And failure or just simply givin’ up or givin’ in should never be an
option.

When it comes to selling things, we know that anything that has been
purchased can be sold. Think about it! Food items, recycled bottles/cans,
artwork, handcrafts, etc. In other words, to have nothing means that you have
convinced yourself that your pride is more valuable than your health. It does not
matter what you paid for it. The idea is to buy some time for yourself, live
cheaply as possible for as long as possible (not the rest of your life) and
regroup.

The options are endless. Examples are everywhere. Mexico changed my
perspective of hustling. I am a hustler in a sense despite the fact that I have
degrees and work as a professional. I will not lie to my clients or patients. I tell it
like it is. My honesty and facial expressions have gotten me into a lot of trouble.
And I admit that I do not like selling. Yet, I might be lying because I like knowing
that I can eat, care for my family and do the things that I like doing. As a matter
of fact, I often remind persons visiting my office not to make me sell to them.
But I am in a field that is not always taken seriously because a many holistic
health practitioners have not been taught how to sell their services.

You do not have to commit crimes or watch others enjoy life. What you must do
is become knowledgeable about what it is that you wish to sell or the service
that you desire to offer. This will make what you do more enjoyable. No one
should work a job just to get a measly paycheck.
