ELECTRICAL INSPECTORS

The Electrical Inspectors of the Iowa State Fire Marshal’s Office perform electrical
inspections on commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential locations. They
also answer questions from electrical contractors, electricians, farmers, homeowners
and the general public, as well as processing manual electrical permits.

Sixteen Electrical Inspectors cover specific geographical areas of the state.
