ELECTRICAL EXAMINING BOARD
ELECTRICAL LICENSING & INSPECTION PROGRAM
The Electrical Examining Board was formed in 2008 with the primary mission
to oversee the Electrical Licensing Program for approximately 14,000 licensed
electricians. In 2009, it began the permitting and inspection process, overseeing
approximately 30,000 electrical inspections and 15,000 permits per year.
The Electrical Examining Board consists of a Chief Electrical Inspector, an
Electrical Executive Secretary, three Electrical Supervisors, sixteen Electrical
Inspectors, and four Clerical Support Staff.
