We would like to thank everyone for their donations in 2024.
We received £2291.75 in donations with an expenditure of
£2072.06.
The expenses would be much higher if it wasn’t for the
generosity of volunteers who transport, foster and feed the
dogs at their own expense. In June we had 6 dogs that required
foster care, we can’t thank the volunteers enough for the help
they provided for these dogs keeping them out of long-term
kennelling. The owner of the dogs did reimburse us for all the
expenses incurred, food and veterinary care during their stay
with us. In all 9 volunteers helped with the care of the dogs.
Throughout the year we assisted breeders to rehome five dogs
that had been returned to them.
Three dogs came into welfare, two of which required long
term care, one with Val and one with Caron, after a few weeks
with us they were rehomed to a new family and are all doing
well.
