Master Wing
Grand Staircase
t he Master Wing features a Salon, Bedroom, Morning Room, His and Her Dressing rooms, and
Bath Spa. A longtime friend, Robert Griesmer designed and crafted the butternut Linen-
fold Master headboard. A Chicago company milled the butternut panels and woodwork
in these rooms. The Old-World look of the cross flooring was created by hand scraping each
board. Off the morning room is a private patio with wood burning fireplace and whirlpool spa.
The Lady’s Dressing room is custom fitted for washer, dryer, steamer and dressing table. The
Gentleman’s Dressing room was crafted of solid rosewood, and designed to accommodate
packing for his travels.
