INTRODUCTION
This annual report 2021 on the implementation of the National
Water Resources Committee is the performance of all sectors to drive
water resources management to achieve the results in accordance
with the 20-year Master Plan on Water Resources Management
(2018 - 2037) and the government’s policy, which places great
importance on the management of the country’s water resources in
order to improve the quality of life for the citizens.
The Office of the National Water Resources, on behalf of the
National Water Resources Committee secretariat, strongly believes
that this Annual Report 2021 will summarise the significant efforts of
the previous year’s performance, which demonstrates the dedication
of all sectors to work together in addressing the problem to achieve
sustainable water security and for the greatest benefit to people and
stakeholders.
