How to write noun as adjectives?

Noun as adjectives and the real noun are written in several different ways:

• one word (bathroom)

• two separate words (car door)
• two hyphenated words (rock-hard)

There can be more than one noun as adjective.

e.g. – car production cost (costs of producing cars)

noun as noun as
noun
adjective adjective

costs
production costs

car production costs

Note: real adjective can still be used to qualify a noun as adjective structure.

e.g. - empty coffee jar

- honest car salesman

- famous England football team coach
