             DEFINITION






             Past Continuous Tense is used to talk

             about things that were occurring at a


             specific point in the past.








                 Take a look at this sentence :




                 Yesterday, I started work at 9 and



                 finished at 10. at 9.30, I was working.














             Started                              Working                             Finished









                It means that it was in continuation. the

                progress was ongoing.
