But there’s more to this ‘menopause story’ too.
And it’s to do with our lifestyle. Women today have lived a
very different life compared with their mother’s generation.
With the types of foods we eat, the exercise we do or don’t do,
the stress we have and other aspects of the way we live our
lives, we accumulate INFLAMMATION internally. This
includes in the gut, bowel, liver and for many who have
exercised relentlessly, for years, the muscle cells as well. In
other words, their internal environment is ‘stressed’ for want of
a better word. So, for women who are carrying inflammatory
changes in their body, this impacts on the changing hormonal
environment too.
