Each SeeMax type of lens is designed and optimized based on the frame shape.
This results in the sharpest and clearest vision regardless of gazing angle.
Conventional lens with no optimization
SEEMAX
Because the lens shape will not be round when fitted into the frame, the distance from the eye point to the edge of the lens varies. The frame shape optimization algorithm calculates the distance between the eye point and the edge of the frame to optimize the lens more precisely.
CALCULATED VARIABLE INSET
It is possible to dictate exactly where you would like to position the reading area for your patient. There are three methods:
1 Classic calculation: Far PD – Near PD
2 Nikon’s decentration algorithm, available on Nikon’s professional website 3 Replicate the patient’s current inset
