Viewfit Technology is powered by Nikon Optical Design Engine. Viewfit allows for the perfect integration of various parameters and every lens is individually calculated in Japan. When the unique parameters are provided, perfect design consistency is ensured and each patient benefits from a fully optimized lens.
FITTING PARAMETERS
WRAP ANGLE
The width of the peripheral vision is affected by variations of the wrap angle. Compensating this variation ensures maximal usability of the lens.
PANTOSCOPIC TILT
Pantoscopic tilt fluctuations will affect the vision in the upper and lower parts of the lens. Viewfit’s tilt compensation maintains the visual performance.
VERTEX DISTANCE
Providing the vertex distance in position of wear helps optimizing the lens. It reproduces the exam room’s condition when wearing the glasses for optimal visual quality.
