STUCKEY’S BRIDGE.... IN EAST CENTRAL Mississippi stands an old

bridge..... and strange things have happened there since one of the Dalton gang

allegedly killed multiple people and buried them along the river banks. According
to legend, Stuckey was a local inn-keeper who would rob and murder those who

stayed at his inn. When he was finally caught and hanged, his body was later cut
from the bridge and fell into the river below. Supposedly, people have spotted a

man walking the river’s edge with a lantern and some people claim they have

seen the apparition of his hanging body, followed by a splashing sound.
Supposedly, one of his victims was a 16 year old girl...... Strange noises and

other unexplained happenings still occur on and around this bridge including the
noise of Stuckey’ body hitting the water after being hung from the bridge.....The

gang member took the name of Stuckey... and thus The Legend of Stuckey’s

Bridge was born...
