ANOTHER ONE OF THE MOST haunted places in Mississippi is Kuhn
Memorial State Hospital. Ever since it closed its doors, the hospital has attracted
paranormal enthusiasts from all over the country and it has even been featured
on the television series ‘Ghost Asylum’. Some of the strange occurrences recorded
there include the disembodied voice of a little girl asking if investigators ‘want to
come play with me?’ and the world help suddenly appearing written backwards
in the dusty floor of the embalming room!
The Kuhn closed in 1989, a victim of state politics and of course funding
issues. Kuhn has stood vacant for the two decades, and will likely stay that way.
