PITCHER POINT HAS A GHOST lady playing a harp that can be heard on
quiet evenings. She was killed by a greedy ship captain and dumped overboard

for her dowry. He then burned his ship and killed the crew except for the 1st

mate, who helped him row ashore. He buried the gold. They came to recover it
one night but heard the harp at sea and looked up to see the murdered women

being rowed towards them on a ghost boat. The mate heard a sound, looked to
the side and the captain had fallen dead. When he looked back to see the boat had

disappeared.
