        CONFERENCE UPDATES AND WRAP UP
Rocky Mountain Private Investigators Conference (PPIAC)
The 2021 Rocky Mountain Investigators Conference was just wrapped up – and what a comeback it
was! For those who missed the first opportunity since February last year to meet in-person, and the
first PPIAC conference since June 2019, you missed a lot – including the side chats with other
investigators and vendors which are as valuable. To all who put it together - and it takes all year -
Thank You! The years of experience in doing the conference shows. The topics varied greatly and
covered things not seen at others, and topics we expected and use. You were missed and we'll see you at
the next in-person event. Thank You all - and it was great to see friends we've missed, and make new ones!

Minnesota Association of Private Investigators & Security Professionals (MAPI)
The MAPI conference was both in-person and remote, and well attended with great topics. Dean
remotely presented on Motor Vehicle Death & SBI Investigations. Thanks to MAPI for hosting!

Coming up – Dean will be presenting in-person at the Iowa Association of Private Investigators!
The Iowa conference is open to in-person and is 10/27/2021 and 10/28/2021 in Des Moines IA. Dean
will give three presentations: Standards of Practice for a PI; Time is Money for a PI; and Evidence
Inspection and Documentation. Visit https://iowa-investigators.com/2021-annual-conference for the
agenda, other presentations, details and registration.
