• Any DNA tests of the decedent and involved persons.
• Any evidence processing of any instrument.
• Any photographs from the scene and autopsy which demonstrates patterned injuries, and any areas of
the instrument which may be consistent, or excludes, the instrument as potentially used.
Summary and Case Disposition
Specific information from any case summary, including search and arrest affidavits, will include the
scenario scene detectives have developed. The CFDI will review and analyze the evidence in general and
specific to blunt or sharp forced injury incident scenes to assess the plausibility of the official findings, and
any alternatives the evidence provides and supports. This will include injuries and patterns, clothing
defects, blood spatter, etc. and any contextual information of the incident and decedent scenes.
