republic. The question is how to eliminate the negative effects of

‘faction’. A faction was defined as "…a number of citizens, whether
amounting to a minority or majority of the whole, who are united

and actuated by some common impulse of passion, or of interest,
adverse to the rights of other citizens, or to the permanent and

aggregate interests of the community." He identifies the most
serious source of faction to be the diversity of opinion in political life

which leads to dispute over fundamental issues such as what regime
or religion should be preferred. This is emphasized with, "the most

common and durable source of factions has been the various and
unequal distribution of property. Those who hold and those who are

without property have ever formed distinct interests in society.”
The issue of a faction is important in looking to the present

direction of our Country. A faction is not a group seeking to
preserve individual liberties and freedoms; it is a group determined

to foment the complete opposite. As an example, this definition
applies to the ‘Occupy’ movements of 2011, also known as the ‘99%’

– not really 99%, but certainly part of, and indoctrinated by, the
Parasitic Cult. These factions, and the definition, are also consistent

with the ideology of modern socialism and progressives.
