QU ILTS

Quilting is the process of sewing two or more layers of fabric together to make a thicker
padded material, usually to create a quilt, quilted garment or home decor item.

Typically, quilting is done with three layers: the top fabric or quilt top, batting or
insulating material and backing material.

Picture entry must be framed and include a hook or wire for hanging.

Best in Show Quilt Award: $50 premium and ribbon will be awarded to one quilted item
from the adult and youth (grades 6-12) blue- ribbon quilt winners.
