POULTRY & FOWL COMPETITION

Exhibitors are encouraged to exhibit poultry and miscellaneous fowls that are
of high quality and representative of the breed.

The Danish Evaluation System of judging will be used. Under this system
each exhibit is compared to the ideal for that category. Exhibits receive either
an excellent (Blue), good (Red) or worthy (White) award. Since each exhibit is
compared to the ideal rather than to other exhibits, there may be multiple
ribbons as the evaluator sees fit.

The Breed should be indicated on the entry card.

No bird can compete in more than one show class.

By law, all chickens and turkey placed on exhibit in North Carolina that have
not had pullorum-typhoid test within the last 90 days must be tested prior to
being placed on exhibit ad thy must test negative.

An agent from NCDA will be present on Sunday, 1-5pm, prior to the Fair
opening, to test each bird.

All birds must be picked up on Sunday September 16, 2018 between 7:00-
9:00pm.
